It is with great sadness that we share this upsetting news that our shaikh the Allaamah Haafidh Abdul Manaan Noorpooree Rahimahullah passed away yesterday. One of the Shaikhs students sent us a text message informing us of this affair and indeed it was very upsetting.
His death is indeed a great loss to the Muslim Ummah based on his extensive knowledge and his deep comprehension of intricate issues. Under such circumstances man is helpless to the will of Allaah and one remembers the saying of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) that the knowledge will not be taken from the chests but rather it will be taken away by the passing away of the Scholars.
He was no doubt one of the Major Salafi Scholars of Pakistan who spent his whole life teaching the principles of salvation of following the book of Allaah and the Messengers Sunnah for 50 years.

We make Dua Allaah The Most High raises his rank and station in the hereafter and grants him a lofty abode in Jannah. Ameen
