The Methodology Of Ahlul Hadeeth – Allaamah Ehsaan Ilaahee Zaheer

Allaamah Ehsaan Elaahee Zaheer Rahimahullaah said

The methodology the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) taught the companions 1400 years ago is the same methodology the Ahlul Hadeeth are upon today. The methodology of Ahlul Hadeeth is clear, manifest and decisive, it is free from anything new. There is no methodology in the world today which is synonymous to the methodology of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) except the way of Ahlul Hadeeth. Yes, so it is our way alone which does not accept any additions of any individual in our deen. As for the other methodologies, then they all have something added or changed in their methodologies by adding from their peers, saints, scholars, jurists or some holy person. All praise be to Allaah, the Ahlul Hadeeth have never allowed this and nor will they ever allow this to happen. They will keep the deen of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam)free from any addition.” (Okara 4th April 1985)
