Hadeeth

On the Authority of Jaabir (Radhiallaahu Anhu) who said the Prophet (Sallaahu alayhee Wasallam), “prohibited eating of the flesh of domestic asses on the Day of Khaibar, and permitted the cooking of the flesh of horses.” . “According to Abu Haneefah it is prohibitively disliked to eat the meat of a horse.” (Hidaayah Akharain 4/441)
